2026 0408 Old River Road Pavement Widening

Pavement widening will take place on Old River Road just South of the Roscoe Road intersection beginning April 20, 2026. The project is expected to be completed by May 31, 2026; however, the schedule is subject to change based on weather conditions.

Old River Road will remain open throughout construction, though intermittent single‑lane closures will be required. A full road closure will be necessary for a few hours for a pipe culvert installation. The exact date will be announced once the timing of that closure is finalized.

Access for local traffic within the project limits will be maintained. Motorists are encouraged to use alternate routes when possible and exercise caution when traveling through construction zones.
