Starting May 5, 2025, the courthouse entrance will be temporarily relocated to 403 Elm St. due to construction of the new Family Court Center.
403 Elm Street is one block south of the current courthouse entrance, directly across from the Winnebago County Administration Building at the corner of Church St. and Elm St.
The Family Court Center project, funded in part by the American Recovery Plan Act, will feature new family courtrooms, a Domestic Violence Assistance Center, a Jury Assembly Room, and a children's waiting area.
