Winnebago County, IL. — The Illinois Department of Revenue, will administer a Board of Review Exam at 10:30 a.m., on August, 21st at the Winnebago County Administration building, located at 404 Elm St., Rockford IL., Room #303. Pursuant to Article 6, of the Illinois Property Tax Code, the Board shall be comprised of Winnebago County residents who have obtained a 70% or greater on the exam and who are qualified by experience and training in property appraisal and property tax administration. The three-member board is appointed by the County Board Chairman, with the approval of the County Board, to serve a two-year term in order to review Winnebago County property assessments for taxation purposes.
