Work will start on South Pecatonica Road on Monday August 11, 2025, between US-20 and Edwardsville Road in the town of Seward. Improvements include widening and paving of the shoulders in anticipation of a resurfacing project in the summer of 2026. The project is expected to be completed by August 22, 2025; however, the duration may vary depending on weather conditions. Temporary lane closures during work hours are expected which will cause delays. Please observe caution in work zones for your safety and the safety of work crews.
