WINNEBAGO COUNTY, Ill. – The Winnebago County Highway Department laid out its capital projects and major maintenance items for Fiscal Year 2022 to county board members Thursday evening, April 28, 2022.

At the top of the list are plans to resurface Charles Street from Alpine Road to Mulford Road, as well as widening and resurfacing Latham Road from Meridian Road to Owen Center Road. "We have consistently leveraged the available revenue to obtain the maximum amount of dollars to address the capital needs of our roadway system," said Winnebago County Engineer Carlos Molina.
