Highway Department to begin Meridian Bridge repairs

WINNEBAGO COUNTY, Ill. - The Winnebago County Highway Department announces that Meridian Road between IL 75 and Shirland Road will be closed for bridge repairs over the Pecatonica River. The work is scheduled to begin on Monday, April 24, 2023 and is anticipated to be completed on Tuesday, April 25, 2023, weather pending. Please plan to use alternate routes for the duration of the repairs.
