State-wide Exam for Board of Review to be held in Lake County

Winnebago County, IL. — The Illinois Department of Revenue, will administer a State-wide Board of Review Exam at 9:00 a.m., on May 8th, 2026 at the Lake County Central Permit Facility, Room 2220, located at 500 W. Winchester Rd, Libertyville, IL 60048. Interested individuals should register for the exam by contacting Cindy Crawford / This email address is being protected from spambots. If no applicants have registered to take the exam by 10:00 AM of the day prior to the scheduled examination, the Department reserves the right to cancel the exam.

Study materials for the exam may be found on the Illinois Department of Revenue's website at https://tax.illinois.gov/localgovernments/property/education-program.html. Applicants are required to provide their own calculators (cell phones are not allowed) and writing instruments.
