Phase II of the Bell School Road construction project will start on Monday July 15, 2024, including reconstruction of the Bell School Road/Guilford Road intersection which will be closed to all traffic (see attached map). Access will be maintained to residents, adjacent businesses and Rockford Christian School through the South limits of the project. Bell School Road and Guilford Road will remain closed to through traffic within the limits of the project. Roads are expected to be open to traffic on a limited basis by August 15, 2024 and final completion of the project, including traffic signals, by November 15, 2024. However, the duration of the work is dependent on the weather. Alternate routes will be required. Delays shall be expected.
