2023 Spring Weight Postings for County highways lifted
2023 SPRING WEIGHT POSTINGS
Due to annual freeze / thaw cycles, the roadways are beginning to soften up. The road departments are now posting signs on roadways that temporarily restrict use from heavy trucks. Winnebago County will be posting signs on some County highways that are affected by these restrictions. Typically, the spring road-posting period is 4 - 6 weeks in duration.

As of Monday, March 13, 2023 the spring weight postings will no longer be enforced by Winnebago County. Updates can be obtained at the Information Line (815) 319-4004.
